Freshwater pearls are matched to similar size and shape, but due to their organic nature they can be uneven, which only adds to their charm and uniqueness as every bead is an original. After the pearls are harvested, they are tumbled, polished and heated to maintain the integrity of the pearl while optimising their colour and lustre.
