do not know about maker or age of the frames. Marked France and I assume the makers mark. lens are in great condition. please look at PICTURE 3. I am not sure if this is the design but that is AS FAR AS THE BACKS OPEN WITHOUT PUTTING THEM ON. I have tried them on personally and they will go over your face.
